Purpose
Use Coping Tool to help your think through your thoughts, feelings, and actions when dealing with a problem and to plan a better way to think for yourself.
Tips
» This tool helps you analyze a problem that happened in the past and remember how you felt at the time and what you were thinking.
» Then you identify a better response and imagine how this new response will help you feel better.
» Plan a new way to think that will lead you to this new response.
» Thinking is often the trigger to behavior. If you change your thinking it will help you change your behavior.
