Purpose
Use the Project Map to plan the steps of a project, who else is involved, each person's responsibilities, and timelines.
Tips
» A key to success for doing complex projects is planning ahead. List all the steps or parts of your project, make sure you know who is doing each part, when each step is due, and exactly what is needed.
» It helps to break a long-term project down into its steps. The due dates set the project timeline from beginning to end.
» Make notes about details of the steps, changes, or group decisions.
» If you get behind on your timeline, revise the due dates for each part to get it done on time.
