Big Picture Card
Tran: Read this space for tips and help.
Purpose: Use the Big Picture Card to get the "big picture" of a many-step project you are doing. List the steps and keep track of what you have learned from each step. You can use this to update a project as you continue working on it.
Tips:
1. Use this tool to organize information from different sources or different topics for a project.
2. After you list the main parts or steps of your project, enter short summaries of what you learned for each part.
3. As you gather new information, just add notes into the categories you have already set up to help integrate your information.
4. Enter your main idea or conclusion into the summary box. This will help you stay focused on the purpose of your project.
