Purpose: This tool provides students with a place to record specific sources and important information, paraphrase what they learned from each source, and determine if they need to conduct further research on subtopics.
Tips:
1. Use this tool to organize your information into the big ideas of your topic. Write the big ideas in your own words.
2. Decide whether you have all the information you need. If not, be specific about what further information you need.
3. Use these notecards to guide your research by raising new questions and then answering the questions.
