Here you can help six students pick the best tool to solve a problem. Then you can practice making that tool. This is a good way to think about how to use the tools yourself.

Try a Tool

For each scenario, analyze the problem and decide which tool to use to solve the problem. When you select the best tool, you can try it out and see an example. Select any of the six scenarios below to begin.

Solving Personal Problems Montelle needs to learn a better way to deal with an unpleasant situation he's faced with at school.		Working on Projects Matt needs to plan the best way complete a project for his skills lab class.

Learning New Information Carla needs to research and organize information for her health class.		Moving into the Future Adam needs to prepare for his IEP and decide a class schedule for next year.
